Just a few more photos from our Balloons Over Broadway event!

The ever popular Balloons Over Broadway STEAM project was a hit this morning at KES! Students preschool-6th grade worked in pairs to design and create a customized balloon for our school wide Thanksgiving Parade.
Each teacher received a copy of the story "Balloons Over Broadway" to read aloud to their students prior to the event while also enjoying a themed snack. Then, older students visited classrooms, paired with a younger buddy and brainstormed ideas and designs before crafting their masterpieces. Finally, the younger buddies paraded through the hallways while their older buddies lined the route, cheering them on. The smiles were contagious!
Special thanks to our literacy subcommittee for planning and organizing the event!

November has been a busy month at KES! Check out the fun that's been had in Mrs. Pomaville's STEAM lab!
