🌱 KES Garden Club is Growing! 🌱 Since launching this spring, our KES Garden Club has met every Wednesday after school to learn the basics of gardening. Students started seeds indoors and in homemade milk jug greenhouses before transplanting them into our garden beds. They’ve also grown plants to create appreciation gifts for our staff. 🌼 Thanks to the generosity of local businesses and community members, the club now has a garden wagon, tools, and other supplies to help keep growing. 🚜🌿 We are so proud of our students for their dedication and hard work, and incredibly thankful to Mrs. Mossner and Ms. LeClair for volunteering their time each week to make this opportunity possible for our KES kids! 🌱🌻

Spring is blooming at KES! 🌱🌷 This week, our preschool (GSRP), Young Fives, and kindergarten friends learned how to plant seeds and care for growing plants during our special seed planting event sponsored by Tractor Supply Company of Marlette for the second year in a row! Each student planted a tomato plant to take home, and some extra seeds will also be planted in our KES garden boxes for our summer school friends to help care for. Thank you, Tractor Supply Company of Marlette, for your continued generosity and for helping our youngest Cardinals learn and grow each spring! ❤️🌱
