Happy December, Cardinals! 🎄
Starting Thursday, KES students and staff are welcome to jazz up their wardrobe* with the following dress-up days. We are all looking forward to spreading a little more holiday cheer.
* Please note: some papers have "Sparkle and Shine" for Thursday, December 11. This is the same as "Festive & Fancy", just differently worded. Thanks for understanding!

Congrats to more KES V.I.P.s ...and this week came with a little plot twist!
During the drawing, a sneaky 6th grade C.A.R.D ticket somehow wandered into the 5th grade bucket… so instead of one winner, our 6th graders walked away with TWO V.I.P.s this week. (Don't worry, two 5th graders will be crowned next drawing!)
Our students continue to earn C.A.R.D.S. tickets by:
• Choosing Respect
• Acting Responsibly
• Being Ready to Learn
• Doing Their Best
• Showing Character
Each ticket is a chance to be selected as a weekly V.I.P, complete with a positive call home, special cafeteria seating with a friend, Cardinal’s Nest prizes, and some top-tier bragging rights.
Great job, Cardinals --even when the buckets get confused, you’re still shining!

We’re excited to announce a Beef Raffle to help fund upgrades that will make Kingston elementary playground fully handicap accessible — ensuring every child can play, explore, and enjoy this space together.
A heartfelt thank you to the Ruggles Family and Caring for Calvin for their incredible generosity and support. Your commitment to helping our students and community means so much. ❤️
You can purchase your tickets at the high school office. Tickets are $20 each or 3 tickets for $50.

🍁 Balloons Over Broadway at KES! 🎈
Today our building was full of creativity and Thanksgiving spirit as students took part in one of our favorite traditions, Balloons Over Broadway!
After reading the inspiring story behind the Macy’s Parade balloons, students enjoyed a snack and then designed parade balloons of their own. One of the best parts is seeing older students partner with our younger learners, helping them imagine, design, and bring their creations to life.
We ended with our very own KES Thanksgiving Parade, where our youngest students proudly marched the halls showing off their colorful creations. Their smiles said it all!
We’re grateful for traditions that blend learning, fun, teamwork, and school spirit, and for the dedicated staff who make them possible.
Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Kingston Elementary School! 🦃💛🎉

If you asked your 6th grader if they did anything fun at school this week and they said no...ask again!
The 6th graders were able to explore new technology in Mrs. Pomaville's STEAM classes this week using CoDrones! Thanks to REMC10 and their lending library, these Cardinals got to experience hands-on engineering, coding, and problem solving disguised as CoDrone flying. The smiles were contagious!
