Today was a perfect day for our Top 25 AR Winners Fishing Trip that was rescheduled from this past spring. The sun was shining and the fish were biting! There weren't many books read today, but we know our students went home with plenty of new stories! A special thank you to Mr. Kramer for making this trip possible!

This week Ms. Kolacz and her students got to participate in her annual "Book Tasting." Each of her classes got to sample books from different genres to find their favorite. Thank you to Ms. Kolacz for going above and beyond to instill a love for reading in our students at KES!

VARSITY TEAMS ONLY!!!! John Scott will be here tomorrow Wednesday August 30th, for team and individual pictures. Forms were sent home yesterday. EVERYONE must have their picture taken, because they are being used for banners to hang in the gym and on the fence outside, as well.

Birch Run has postponed their Cross Country meet for today. They have moved it to Thursday August 31st beginning at 4:00 pm. No practice tonight as well. Athletes are expected to workout on their own. See Coach Freeland for the workout plan.

Due to field and weather conditions, the Jr High football practice for tonight has been canceled. Next practice will be Friday from 4:30 until 6:30 at the high school

Due to field conditions at Brown City tonight's JV football game has been postponed. The game will now be played on Wednesday October 11, 2023 beginning at 6:00 PM. Bus will leave Kingston at 4:30

Just a reminder that Jr High volleyball practices 7th & 8th begin tomorrow Wednesday 8/23 from 3:00 to 4:30 at the elementary. Be sure to have the proper clothing and shoes . Also you MUST have a physical dated after 4/15/2023. If you do not have a physical you still need to come to practice but you cannot participate.

The start time for tomorrows JV Football game at Brown City has been moved up to 6:00 pm.

Deadline to apply is Thursday, August 24, 2023 (by 3:00pm). Interviews will be held before the regular board meeting on Monday, August 28, 2023 in the high school library. Kingston Community Schools is seeking interested applicants to be appointed to fill one vacancy as a trustee on the Board of Education. The term expires in 2024 and must be filled by August 28th. I was just informed that the football game scheduled with Akron-Fairgrove on Friday the 25th has been moved to Thursday August 24th beginning at 7:00 pm.
