One Friday a month, September-May, students can purchase popcorn/bottled water as a fundraiser for Kingston Connected. We are hoping to streamline this process by fully funding popcorn Fridays!
Interested in helping? Check out the graphic for details and see our Kingston Connected table at our Cardinal Kickoff (Open House) this Thursday, August 22nd from 4:00-6:00 pm at KES. We will be accepting cash or checks.
All classroom, grade level and school sponsors will not only help us reach our goal of providing popcorn and bottled water to each student this year, but your name will also be added to a sponsorship bulletin board as a thank you to you for your support. ❤️🖤

A continuation from the previous message: Coaches will have more information on the first day of practice for all student athletes. This will include daily practice times and locations, game schedule with bus times and coaches contact information.
This is a reminder that JR HIGH/MIDDLE SCHOOL practices cannot start until August 26th. Football (Coach Van Horn) 3-5 at the high school - Cross Country (Coach Freeland) 3:00-430 at the high school - Volleyball 7th (Coach Skinner) 8th (Coach Spencer) together on day one 3:00-430 at the elementary school.

Ice cold lemonade! These cute little Cardinals have hosted several lemonade stands throughout the summer. What did they choose to do with the money? Donate it to their school, of course! The funds will be used to purchase back-to-school materials from the wish lists of our early childhood classrooms at KES. We’d like to give a special thanks to these little Cardinals for their generosity, to Madisyn Pennington and her helpers for organizing the lemonade stands, as well as the Proctor family for hosting them. It is greatly appreciated!
We know that KHS students are eager to see their schedules for the upcoming school year. We are finalizing a few things and plan to have the schedules ready soon. We will be sure to make an announcement as soon as they are ready to view on Skyward. Thank you for your patience!

Jr High / Middle School Fall Sports Seasons practices will start on Monday August 26th. YOU MUST HAVE A PHYSICAL DATED AFTER 4/15/2024 !!! Below are the times for the 1st day of practice for each. Cross Country 3:00pm to 4:30pm / Volleyball 7-8 3:00pm to 5:00pm Elem School / Football 7-8 3:00pm to 5:00pm.

If anyone is still interested in K-12 in running XC that did not attend Monday's Parent meeting, please email Coach Freeland at mfreeland@kingstonk12.org. Varsity Practice starts officially Aug 12 from 8-9:30 AM. 6-8th grade XC first practice will be Mon, Aug 26 from 3-4:30 PM.

First year Mid-Michigan College Dual Enrollment students, there will be an orientation at the Tuscola Technology Center on Tuesday, August 13th at 5:30pm. Please make plans to attend.
There will be a parent meeting on Monday, July 29th at 6:30pm at the football field for any students K-5 interested in cross country and a parent meeting for students 6-12 interested in cross country at 7pm
