The Kingston Fire Department will have their Christmas light truck parade this Saturday, December 23, 2023, at 7pm. Please come out and support our fire fighters!

UPDATE: The JV / Varsity Boys Basketball game at Auburn Hills Oakland Christian will go on as scheduled. The bus will leave at 4:00 PM. JV game at 6:00 PM. Please be cautious on the back roads. Give yourself plenty of time. The main roads are in good condition. Here is the address 3075 Shimmons Rd Auburn Hills, MI

A decision on the game tonight will made by early afternoon. Conditions are improving. Main roads will be fine, it is the side roads that will need to safe for all players, cheerleaders and coaches to make it to the bus safely. I will keep everyone updated as soon as a decision is made.

Kingston Community Schools and the Cardinal Center daycare will be closed Tuesday, December 19, 2023 due to icy roads.

The Cardinal Center daycare will also be on a 2 hour delay.

Kingston Board of Education meeting tonight (December 18, 2023) in the public library at 6:00pm. Snacks with the Superintendent (if you have any questions/concerns for the Superintendent) will be tomorrow (December 19, 2023) from 3:30pm - 4:30pm in the high school cafeteria.

The Class of 2028 will be selling KCS Christmas ornaments for $10 at the 1pm and 6pm elementary Christmas program performances. We know it will be a great show!

This week, Mrs. Lester was delivered a “truckload of books” that she won in a contest with Michigan Construction. Her students also received goodie bags with construction hats, coloring books, and other fun construction themed items. A special thank you to all the contest sponsors and to Derek Carr from Angelo-Iafrate for delivering the books and spending some time in Mrs. Lester’s classroom!
