Just a reminder!

You know we love to celebrate at KES, and this week we celebrated Read Aloud to a Child Week! Students in grades 4th-6th teamed up with some of our littlest Cardinals to share the love of reading aloud. 📖

🏈 Youth Night in Kingston!
Come cheer on our KES flag football teams and stay for the high school game at 7 p.m. All flag football players get in FREE!

Kingston Athletic Boosters will hold a meeting to discuss ideas for growth on Thursday, October 23rd at 5pm in the high school cafeteria. Please join us if you are interested in ensuring that every student athlete at Kingston High School has what they need to be successful and to be proud of their school, its programs and facilities.
Reminder: Carter Goss will be hosting a book signing event during the elementary parent-teacher conferences on Thursday, October 23rd from 1-4pm and 5-7pm. Please use the QR code on the flyer to pre-order a copy of his book.

Safety Update
While I cannot share specific details due to the ongoing investigation, I can tell you that a perceived threat was made against the school. After a thorough initial investigation and interviews with the suspect(s), it was determined that the threat was not real. It had been generated using another student's photo and artificial intelligence.
At this time, there is no credible or ongoing threat to our students, staff, or school community. Our top priority remains the safety and well-being of everyone on campus. We are continuing to work closely with law enforcement to ensure our school remains a safe and secure environment for all.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding.

We are bursting with pride for this week’s Kingston Elementary V.I.P.s! They are shining bright and showing everyone what true Cardinal excellence looks like!
Our KES students are earning tickets every day by:
Choosing Respect
Acting Responsibly
Ready to Learn
Doing their Best
Showing Character
Each C.A.R.D.S. ticket holds a chance to become a weekly V.I.P. — complete with positive phone calls home (parents love those!), luxury cafeteria seating with a friend, special prizes from the Cardinal’s Nest, and of course, MAJOR bragging rights.
Keep up the great work, Cardinals!

🌟 KES 3rd–6th Graders Celebrate Positive Behavior with a Fantastic Fall Field Trip! 🍁🎃
Our 3rd–6th grade students had an awesome time celebrating their first marking period Positive Behavior reward at McCready Family Farms! 🎉
These hardworking students earned this special day by showing great behavior all marking period long, and what a reward it was! They enjoyed visiting the petting zoo, zipping down the giant haybale slide, and diving into the corn pit. 🍩🍎 Students also savored delicious donuts and cider and took a hayride that stopped at the corn maze and pumpkin patch, where they picked their very own pumpkins, straight from the vine! 🎃🚜
A big thank you to McCready Family Farms for being such wonderful hosts, and to our amazing staff and chaperones for helping make this trip a success. 🙌
We are so proud of our KES students for their outstanding behavior and positive choices during the first marking period. We can’t wait to celebrate even more great behavior with fun and exciting rewards in the marking periods ahead! 🌟

To All JV and Varsity volleyball players and parents,
I was just informed that Dryden (our opponent on Tuesday) has canceled the remainder of their JV volleyball season due to a lack of players. The start time for the Varsity game will be moved to 7:00 p.m. We will also have our "Senior Night" activities beginning at 6:30 p.m.
If all parents of our seniors would please meet me in the cafeteria no later than 6:20 p.m., it would be greatly appreciated.
Furthermore, with Peck not having a JV volleyball team, that means the JV season is complete. I will meet with all JV players on Monday, October 20, to discuss any questions they may have.
