In recognition of Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Month this November, Kingston Schools is partnering with HDC to provide meal kits and launch a blessing food box for our Kingston community. Any excess food donations will be donated to support homeless families in neighboring communities.

Together, we can make a difference by helping ensure no family goes hungry this season. Please see the flyer below for details on how you can contribute!

5th Grade Coders to the Rescue! Fifth grade students in Mrs. Pomaville's STEAM class took on a zombie 🧟‍♀️ apocalypse — with Ozobots as their survivors! Using coding skills, teamwork, tiny robots and creative problem-solving, they programmed their bots to navigate obstacles and escape the undead. 🧠⚙️ Students were also collaborating to complete a virtual pixel art puzzle. 🧩

Trick or treat! 🎃 The 6th graders have been busy in Mrs. Pomaville's STEAM class! For the last few weeks, students have been planning, designing, building and creating a magnificent haunted village for the Dash and Dot robots to travel through on "Halloween night". From painting and hot gluing to designing costumes and even tiny candies, no details have been forgotten! Check out the amazing creativity below! More photos to come!

Post Season Schedule
We are honored to invite all local veterans and active-duty service members to our Veterans Day program as we celebrate and thank you for your service to our country. The program will be Tuesday, November 11 at 9:00 am at Kingston Elementary School. Our students in grades Young Fives-6 will present songs, readings, and tributes to honor our heroes. We would be proud to have you join us as our special guests. Light refreshments will be provided.

Due to some internal moves, we now have a few exciting opportunities open in our Cardinal Center and GSRP programs at KES.

Congratulations to Sophia Schipinski, who has taken on a new role as a 1:1 Support Paraprofessional! We know she’ll continue to make a positive impact in her new position.

Congratulations also to Destiny Noakes, who has accepted the Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher role in the Cardinal Center! We’re thrilled to see her step into this position and continue doing great things for our students.

As these changes take place, we’re looking to add some new faces to our amazing KES team!
