Thank you to all our KES staff, students and their families for participating in our annual pumpkin decorating. We hope that everyone enjoyed the opportunity, from decorating, to delivery, to viewing them at the courthouse during the Pumpkin Festival. If you haven’t already done so, don’t forget that you can pick your student’s pumpkin up from the courthouse lawn. We look forward to next year’s event!
They say it takes a village to raise a child. We can now confirm that it takes a village to build their playground, too! We would like to extend our sincerest thanks to all the members of our community and Kingston staff that worked together to make our new Cardinal Center and GSRP playground possible. From writing the grant and selecting the playscape, to preparing the site and building it, to spreading the mulch and ensuring the final inspection went well, this project was a true team effort. We are so thankful for community partners like the Tuscola County Community Foundation, and the team of individuals who made this project possible. Members of the team not pictured are Rocky Proctor and Shona Vennevy. Thank you!
